One of the St George Illawarra Dragons’ most talented juniors is apparently trying to get his contract extended.
Jesse Williams, a standout for the St. George Dragons, the club’s SG Ball Cup team, was essential in leading the team to win over the Canterbury Bulldogs in the competition’s Grand Final.
The centre finished the season with two tries in the season’s final game, capping an amazing year that saw him finish with 20 tries in 11 games.
According to allegations that have surfaced from Wide World of Sports, Jesse Williams is now highly sought-after in rugby league, and the Dragons intend to retain him for an extended period of time.
Williams previously attracted notice, although his contract expires at the end of the 2025 campaign.
But clubs can’t speak to him until November in an effort to entice him away from the Red V because of new NRL regulations.
