With great pleasure, Grimsby Town Football Club announces that Umbro will supply the team’s official uniforms for the ensuing three years.
Until the end of the 2026–2027 season, the Mariners will get custom match kits for the first team, academy, and women’s team from the reputable British sports brand in addition to training and leisurewear.
Since 1924, Umbro has been associated with the beautiful game. In the previous season, they collaborated with over 120 clubs worldwide, including Premier League teams Luton Town, West Ham United, Brentford, and AFC Bournemouth.
The Mariners and Umbro have a history together; in the early 1970s, the team donned their uniforms, albeit without the iconic diamond insignia.
Marketing and Communications Manager Jack Johnson commented on the team’s new relationship with Umbro, saying, “We are all really excited to be in a partnership with Umbro, a globally known brand with a rich history of creating iconic football kits.”
We were astounded by their portfolio of previous kits and heritage items, and it has been a pleasure collaborating with them on our training wear and kits for the upcoming season.
“I’m excited for us to start showing them off to our supporters in the upcoming weeks, starting very soon with the home shirt.”
The licence for the club’s association with Umbro is provided by Kitlocker, a Sheffield-based business that supplies clubs, national governing bodies, and institutions with globally recognised sportswear brands.
Early in June, we will be releasing information on the debut of our new house kit.
