Although emergency personnel raced to the scene of the single-vehicle collision, the biker was declared dead there.

Tony Currie is the name given by authorities to the motorcyclist who died in an accident on the A76 close to Kilmarnock.

At around 6:55 p.m. on Monday, May 20, emergency personnel received reports of the single-vehicle crash and hurried to the scene. After emergency personnel arrived, the rider was declared deceased on the spot.

The 34-year-old’s death is the subject of an inquiry by Police Scotland officers.

They have made a call for any witnesses to come forward, especially anyone who have dash-cam footage.

“Our thoughts are with Tony’s family and friends as they try to come to terms with what has happened,” Road Policing Sergeant Martin Cunningham stated. We’ll keep them informed as our inquiry develops.

“I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has so far shared information. I still want to talk to anyone who was there when the crash happened or has dashcam film that could help us.
