Ulster Rugby, an Irish team competing in the BKT United Rugby Championship, is expected to announce the acquisition of highly anticipated Hurricanes flyhalf Aiden Morgan.
After the 2024 Super Rugby season ends, Morgan, 22, who was born in Auckland, will join Richie Murphy’s team, for which he is eligible under Irish law.
Bily Burns, who has committed to play for Irish opponent Munster and will face off against former Ireland U20 and Emerging Ireland flyhalf Jake Flannery, will be replaced by Morgan.
Morgan, a former representative of the U20 All Blacks, joins Ulster with a background that meshes well with the team’s upcoming makeover.
