According to Jake Fischer, only the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers made legitimate bids on Dejounte Murray. Listen to the chat at the 41:00 minute mark here:

Fischer says that if the Hawks don’t get their asking price, they may just keep him and that trading Dejounte Murray is a “50/50” proposition.

Fischer goes on to suggest, “Could it be Utah?” Maybe. Could it be one of the other eleven teams the Hawks say they’re in talks with? I haven’t been able to discover ten; I’m not sure if that number is that strong.”

This verifies suspicions that the Jazz are interested in Dejounte Murray, but it also confirms that an offer was made, not just the Jazz making a call. As previously said, the Jazz figure to be both buyers and sellers this deadline, and they would like to add a point guard to the roster who can help bridge the gap until Keyonte George takes over the offense. George has shown great promise, but he still needs to work on his game and shooting, as do most rookies. We’ll see whether the Jazz make this move, but Fischer says only if the Hawks’ asking price is reached.
