Now that Nottingham Forest has reached out to sign a Bayern Munich player, Vincent Kompany is willing to allow him to depart the Allianz Arena.

The Belgian managed to get a job in Bavaria as Thomas Tuchel’s replacement, despite Burnley ending eight points behind the Garibaldi and entering the Championship as a result.

One of Kompany’s first duties will be to reduce the number of players in his squad at Bayern Munich. As a result, a player may now join Nottingham Forest, albeit initially just on loan.

Nottingham Forest make contact to sign Daniel Peretz

Nottingham Forest has reportedly inquired about Daniel Peretz, the number eighteen for Bayern Munich, according to a report from BILD in Germany.

The Israel international is reportedly admired by Kompany’s team, but they believe he needs regular playing time elsewhere because he is ranked behind Sven Ulreich and Manuel Neuer.

According to BILD, Nottingham Forest is merely one team that has expressed interest in signing Peretz; other teams that have been in contact with Bayern Munich include Celtic, Sevilla, Real Betis, Villarreal, Anderlecht, and Copenhagen.

Ross Wilson will therefore undoubtedly have competition if he want to recruit the glovesman who was born in Tel Aviv this summer.
Peretz, who cost €5 million (£4 million) to sign with Bayern Munich from Maccabi Tel Aviv, was the third choice for the German powerhouses last season, but he still made two appearances and kept two clean sheets.

Bayern Munich would surely want assurances

since previously mentioned, Bayern Munich would undoubtedly demand guarantees over minutes played, since they want Peretz to have plenty of playing time during his planned loan away from Bavaria.

That would undoubtedly mean that Nuno Espirito Santo would have to either bench Matz Sels, who only recently joined the City Ground, or alternate the Belgium international with Peretz on a regular basis, which is not something we really see happening.

Thus, we suspect this trade will happen unless Bayern Munich agree to let the Israeli to first sign with Nottingham Forest as a backup option rather than insisting he starts right away.
