A HALESOWEN road will close for resurfacing, according to a statement from Dudley Council.

Hurst Green’s Woodbury Road will be closed starting tomorrow, Thursday, June 6, with completion anticipated by Thursday, June 13.

Round Hills Road, Hurst Green Road, Narrow Lane, Halesowen Road, and vice versa will be the routes used for the diversion.

“The restriction is necessary to safely facilitate carriageway resurfacing works,” a Dudley Council spokesperson stated.

“The works will be carried out on 2 separate weeks and the roads will be closed for a maximum of 2 days on each week.”

From the intersection of Rounds Hill Road to the intersection of Halesowen Road, the road will be closed.

It is one of the 67 roads in the borough getting a new surface.
