Two men and a woman have been taken into custody as a result of a police operation that focused on the sale of drugs in Bradford’s downtown.

Residents expressed concerns, which led to the operation.

The 40, 46, and 28-year-old men and women were taken into custody on suspicion of having a hand in the distribution of Class B and C narcotics.

A sizable quantity of drugs were also found during further residence searches.

The Bradford City Neighbourhood Policing Team has conducted a proactive policing operation primarily targeting the supply of controlled narcotics in the city center, according to a force spokesperson.

“The local community’s recent worries directly prompted the start of this operation.

“Apprehension for suspected involvement in the Class B and Class C drug supply warranted the arrest of two males and one woman, ages 40, 46, and 28.

“At this moment, they’re all still in police custody.

“More significant quantities of Class B and C narcotics were found during subsequent home searches.

“There are still questions.

“Those with information regarding drug supply are asked to report it to police by calling 101 or using the online tool available at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/report-it.”
