Train carriages at the Rushden Historical Transport Society HQ have been destroyed in a fire that is being treated as an arson attack.
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Station Approach in Rushden at 6pm yesterday (Wednesday, April 17) to reports of a fire involving a vintage train carriage on the disused railway line.
Wednesday, August 23 at 9 a.m. is when the store will open to customers in the former Argos space. On Friday, August 25, at 10 a.m., there will be an official grand opening.
Established over 40 years ago, the family firm is expanding and will soon open a spacious, bright store in Rushden town centre. They will be offering a wide selection of brands in food and drink, household products, electrical goods, everyday essentials, and seasonal ranges.
