Following an incident that occurred in Swindon overnight, Wiltshire Police released a statement.
A person wearing white safety gear and a mask was spotted snapping pictures inside the house on Overbrook near Eldene Drive, which was cordoned off by police officers and forensic investigation teams.
“A man in his 70s was taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning (June 21) after being found unconscious outside in Overbrook, Swindon,” a Wiltshire Police spokesperson stated this afternoon.
“Those who were in the vicinity last night and could have seen anything strange are welcome to contact the detectives looking into the incident.
“We also want to hear from any neighbouring homeowners who have recordings from their doorbell cameras from last night, or from anyone who may have drove by and have dash cam footage.
