Lamb, who was included in the Posh U21 team until his release earlier this summer, was hurt along with three other men last Sunday night (June 16) in a knife attack in Birmingham.
The incident happened shortly before 11 p.m. at the Bullring shopping center, outside the Five Guys, after England defeated Serbia 1-0 in the 2024 World Cup.
Following a “scary few days,” as he has put it, Lamb is currently recuperating.
The most terrible thing, in my opinion, is that some victims of knife crime are unable to express their gratitude for my continued presence.
“I just hope that people don’t think it’s okay to walk out their front door with knives because of things like this and more serious incidents.”
“We were called to reports of disorder outside Five Guys, Bullring, Birmingham, at around 10.45 on June 16,” a West Midlands Police spokesperson stated.
