The 38-year-old victim of a beach stabbing attack in which another woman lost her life has been released from the hospital.

The two women, who were from Poole in Dorset, were attacked on May 24 at 23:45 BST on Durley Chine Beach in Bournemouth.
The 38-year-old sustained significant injuries, and Amie Gray, a 34-year-old personal trainer, passed away at the scene.

A 20-year-old London man from Croydon is still being held by police after being detained on suspicion of murder on Tuesday.
The man was taken from London to Bournemouth after being detained on suspicion of attempting murder, and he is currently being questioned by specialized detectives.

Dorset Police have reported that two locations in Bournemouth have undergone forensic examinations and searches.
Additionally, two different Croydon addresses have been searched by police.
The major crime investigation team’s Det Supt. Richard Dixey called the case “extensive” and “fast-moving.”

The force also stated that there will be an increased police presence in the area throughout the weekend.
Mrs. Gray’s cause of death was listed as multiple stab wounds at the Bournemouth Coroners Court inquest into her death.

Sian, Mrs. Gray’s wife, expressed how much she would miss her, saying, “Her big smile and giggly laugh will be hard to be without.”
Mrs. Gray’s mother, Sharon Macklin, called her “energetic soul” and “amazing, funny, and kind.”
She said, “Amie’s presence could not be ignored as laughter filled the room when she entered.”
“Our lives will be empty without him, and she was beautiful on the inside as well as the outside.”

The women’s indoor football team  Dorset Futsal Club, led by Mrs. Gray, expressed their “absolutely devastated” state.
