Liverpool forward Mo Salah recovers from a hamstring injury.

Another late-night session has reinforced Mo Salah’s determination to return to full fitness for Liverpool.

The winger has been out since returning from the African Cup of Nations with Egypt due to a hamstring issue. Salah, who has 18 goals for Liverpool this season, was expected to miss 3-4 weeks.

While on the treatment table, the Reds’ Premier League lead was cut to two points after a 3-1 setback against Arsenal.

Although Salah appears to be trying to be fit for Saturday’s Burnley match, Jurgen Klopp will not hurry him back.

Salah tweeted photos of himself working out at home and at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday night. On Monday, he repeated. Kirkby’s former Chelsea forward has also been running on grass.

Salah may return for the match against Brentford on Saturday 17 February if he is not fit to play against Burnley.
