10 Glasgow warriors confirm for exit

In tomorrow’s U20 Six Nations Summer Series encounter, which is the third and final one, ten members of Glasgow Warriors’ inaugural Celtic Challenge squad have been included in the matchday 23 lineup. Claire Cruikshank’s team is hoping to end their season in grand fashion by taking against Ireland in Parma.

Scotland will try to win the championship for the first time after putting on competitive shows but losing to both France and Italy in their first two games. The match starts at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi.

Sky Phimister and Lucy MacRae, the only two Glasgow backs to have started every game in the competition, are back in the starting lineup for the third straight game.

After making her debut of the season against France, Izzy McGuire-Evans keeps her spot at full-back, and Ceitidh Ainsworth makes a comeback to the starting lineup after making an impressive play at fly-half in the first-round matchup with Italy. Megan Hyland, the eighth player for Garioch, starts all three of the competition’s matches up front with Phimister and MacRae. Hyland is again chosen to start at the base of the scrum.

Stirling County duo Eilidh Fleming and Holland Bogan join their Glasgow colleague in the pack, the pair having been introduced early off the bench in the clash with France last time out.

Three further Warriors await their chance to make an impact from the bench, as Karis Craig and Chloe Brown rotate to the replacements after starting against France in round two.

Glasgow co-captain Rhea Clarke completes the cohort of Warriors selected to close out the campaign, the scrum-half having impressed with her performance against France after missing out on the clash with Italy.
