Harvey Macadam is the 16th new player Derek Adams has brought into the Morecambe team.
The Fleetwood Town midfielder, 23, joins on a free transfer, but there is a sell-on provision in the agreement. He joined Fleetwood in January 2022 and has made 43 appearances for the team, scoring twice. Earlier this year, he was on loan at Waterford in the League of Ireland Premier Division.

“I’m really excited and I’m buzzing to get it over the queue,” he stated.
I’m happy to be one of the many new players the coach has brought in. “This morning, I got to meet all the boys, and they’re all friendly. I’m happy with my training because I trained well.We know that this year will be enormous for us, so accumulating minutes in the preseason is crucial to ensure that we’re ready to play on August 10.

I’m a hard-working midfield player that always leaves tears, sweat, and blood on the shirt.”I’ll do everything in my power to create opportunities for our attacking players with the ball.” Prior to joining AFC Fylde, Macadam played as a young player with Blackburn Rovers after being seen by his hometown team, Burnley.

He was released by the Coasters in the summer of 2019 after serving as a scholarship player for two years.

Fleetwood became interested in him after he moved to Northwich Victoria, Nelson, Longridge Town, and Ashton United, and then for a second term with the latter.

He was first assigned to their development squad before moving up to the senior levels after they signed him for an undisclosed sum of money.
