Tornio have reportedly reached an agreement with Scotland international Che Adams, who is currently a free agent after his contract with newly-promoted Premier League side Southampton expired at the end of June.
Reports Torino reach agreement with Adams
According to Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia, Torino have now reached an agreement on personal terms with the player and his agents, although the exact figures have not yet been specified.
Recent reports suggest that the contract could be worth around €1.8m per season, not including bonuses, as well as a €1.5m signing-on bonus.
Torino will not have to pay a fee to Southampton, or to any other club, given Adams’s availability on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old, who burst onto the scene with Birmingham after joining from Sheffield United in 2016, has 33 caps for Scotland’s senior side, scoring six goals over the past four years.
According to previous reports, Adams and his agents had been in Italy over the last week to hold discussions with a number of clubs, including Torino.
