Police are providing more details about two people found dead inside a Bradford West Gwillimbury home last week(opens in a new tab). According to South Simcoe police, the bodies of a man in his 60s and his wife, who was in her 50s, were discovered inside the Depeuter Crescent house on Friday when officers arrived for a well-being check.
It has been revealed by the police that the man killed himself and his wife a few days prior to their arrival.
Their true identities are still unknown.
Although the motivation is being investigated, investigators think intimate partner violence was probably involved.
The pair, according to police, had resided in Bradford for a number of decades and they disclosed that no previous police calls had been made to the residence.
The police service said on Monday that “no further information will be released, given the sensitive nature of what has taken place.”
