NRL Las Vegas: Air New Zealand’s Warriors deal sells out in 17 minutes
March will see the Warriors take on the Raiders on the same weekend as the Panthers take on the Sharks.
The national carrier will operate a unique one-off charter trip between Auckland and Las Vegas using a Boeing 777-200.
Air New Zealand chief customer and sales officer Leanne Geraghty said the economy package which includes access to four matches plus flight and accommodation had sold out fast.
“Our purpose is connecting New Zealanders with each other and the world… and, it turns out, the Wahs!
“We were thrilled with the enthusiastic response we received from the public, as our Grabaseat packages sold out in an unprecedented 17 minutes.”
The NRL, Super League, and international test rugby league will all be available to visitors to Vegas; beginning March 1, 2025, Allegiant Stadium will host a historic four-game schedule featuring all three leagues.
Superfans of the Warriors, Dai Henwood and Ben Hurley, will be hosting the flight, which is dubbed NZ1995 in honour of the team’s first season. On February 25, the direct service will leave for Las Vegas and return to Aotearoa on March 4.
According to Geraghty, the journey will begin with a flight with a Warriors theme, honouring everything Wahs with freebies and activities throughout. We predict that this deal will go quickly, so if you want to be sure you don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, wager wisely and act quickly.
According to Cameron George, CEO of the Warriors, fans will have an amazing opportunity to witness history on the flight.
“Everyone is aware of the incredible support we receive. No matter where we play, they consistently demonstrate this every week.
“They now have the chance to take part in what is sure to be an incredibly unique experience in Las Vegas.”
