Bradford City announce another two new additional backup

Bradford City has revealed two significant backroom team additions.
With the retirement of Dayle Avison and Greg Stebbings, Matt Abbott has been appointed as the new physiotherapist, and Tom Eastwood has been appointed as the new head of performance.

Abbott has a history in rugby, having held positions as head of medical at Wasps Women and as a physiotherapist and medical coordinator at the Rugby Football League.

Having begun his career in the army, he previously worked at the academies of Wigan Warriors and Fulham FC.

Eastwood comes from Stockport County, where he was engaged in two promotions in three seasons as the head of strength and conditioning starting in 2021. Since the beginning of the preseason, he has been practicing with the Bantams.

He began his career as a sports scientist for the Taiwan national team, Port Vale, Al Wahda, and Nantong Zhiyun.
