BURLINGTON (WGME) — Maine State Police says it is investigating a crash involving a woman and three children in Burlington Tuesday evening.
Police say the crash happened around 5: 48 p.m. on Long Ridge Road in Burlington.
The vehicle was reportedly coming from Lincoln with both passenger-side tires blown before the crash.
Witnesses say they saw the vehicle hit a curb in Lincoln and keep driving toward Burlington.
Troopers found the vehicle resting on its side in the woods off of Long Ridge Road.
A 48-year-old woman and three children, an 8-year-old and two 1-year-olds, were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
