After two men died in a crash in Surrey, authorities launched a double murder investigation that resulted in the arrest of four persons.

Just after midnight on Monday, the guys, who were in their 20s, lost their lives in an accident involving a black e-bike on the A316 southbound slip lane leading onto the M3 near Sunbury.

According to Surrey Police, one man was declared dead at the spot, while the other was brought to the hospital, where he passed away later on Monday.

A 24-year-old woman from North Yorkshire was detained on suspicion of aiding an offender, a 29-year-old male from Sunbury was arrested on suspicion of murder, and two 24-year-old men from Walton-on-Thames and Feltham were detained on suspicion of plotting to commit murder.

Although our investigation is still in its early phases, our officers are working nonstop to determine the incident’s circumstances and compile relevant evidence.

According to her, the police are want to contact with anyone who may have information that could help with the inquiry. This includes anyone who was in the Sunbury Cross area on Monday between 40 and 50 minutes after midnight and may have CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that could have shown the collision.

“We are especially interested in tracking the whereabouts and driving style of a black Ford Ranger and a black e-bike that are traversing the area at this time,” the spokesperson stated.
