ExWHUemployee reports that Exeter City is expected to defeat Wycombe Wanderers, Cheltenham Town, and Grimsby Town in the race to sign West Ham United prospect Gideon Kodua.
Hammers prospect Kodua had a stint on loan at Wycombe in League One last season as he continued his development.
The attacker made ten appearances in League One during the course of his time at Wycombe.
Kodua’s return has been considered by Wycombe, while Exeter, Cheltenham Town, and Grimsby are all interested.
Exeter appears to have prevailed, and they will probably sign Kodua on a season-long loan.
Kodua will rejoin League One in Exeter as he attempts to make his name in the third division once more.
The attacker struck the back of the net in both the Premier League 2 and the Under-18 Premier League, scoring over 20 goals for West Ham.
To see how the 19-year-old manages a whole season in League One, West Ham will be keeping a close eye on him.
