A busy road in Stockport is closed off this morning after a two-car crash.
Cheadle Road is currently shut off in both directions close to the junction with Orrishmere Road. A Police spokesperson said the crash involved two cars, with one flipping onto its side in the incident.
One driver was rescued after becoming ‘trapped’. No serious injuries have been reported.
Paramedics and fire crews were also called to the scene. Traffic is being diverted away from the area.
