One individual is hospitalised following an early March 11 motorcycle and car collision in Leyton. At at 4.35 am, the emergency services sped to Lea Bridge Road in response to reports of an accident.

The victim was found there and taken to the hospital right away. Lea Bridge Road was consequently shut down between Flempton Road and Perth Road while professionals conducted accident investigation work.

London buses 55 and 56 have been diverted by it. “We were called at 4.36am this morning (Monday, March 11) to reports of a road traffic collision in Leyton, E10,” a London Ambulance Service spokesman stated.

“An incident response officer, ambulance crews, and a trauma team in a car were among the services we despatched to the location.

“When the London Ambulance Service (LAS) arrived on the scene, officers helped them treat two patients. There were no serious or life-altering injuries.”

Work on the accident investigation is ongoing, which is causing severe delays in the region. According to the travel and traffic website Inrix, there is traffic up to 0.5 miles in each direction along Lea Bridge Road heading west or south on Markhouse Road coming from Walthamstow.
