After a vehicle and a truck collided in Fife, a youngster was flown by air ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
The fifteen-year-old driver of the second vehicle was transported by ambulance to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for medical attention.
At approximately nine in the morning on Saturday, police were summoned to the scene on Den Walk in Methil.
The road was closed for many hours and reopened at approximately 14:00. Three appliances from the Scottish fire and rescue service responded to the area.

The event is still being investigated, according to the police.


Sergeant Tom Aitken stated: “We are appealing to any potential witnesses who saw the collision happen, or who may have noticed the vehicles on the road beforehand, to please come forward.”Additionally, we kindly ask any drivers who were in the vicinity and have dashcams to review their tape to see if anything noteworthy was taken.”
