A horrifying crash left a drink stuck, four people dead, and two fighting for their lives.
Police were dispatched to Woodlands Drive in Scarborough on Monday following two consecutive crashes involving a Ford C-Max.
After exchanging information with the taxi owner, the driver of the car struck it and it smashed into the fence, according to North Yorkshire Police.
After the collisions, the driver was brought to the hospital after testing positive for alcohol more than three times the legal limit.

Officers discovered the driver did not possess a valid driver’s license, which led them to take the damaged car, according to the police.

People who were in the vicinity and could have dashcam footage of either of the crashes were urged to get in touch with the police.
