New update as tottenham Hotspur serously work on there new transfer deal

Manchester City could face transfer rivalry from Tottenham Hotspur for the Italy international.

Tottenham Hotspur are working on a potential transfer to bring Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci to London, in what would be a blow for Manchester City and potential boost for North London rivals Arsenal.

Football Insider reports that Spurs’ ambitions to sign the Italy international are increased by working with former managing director Fabio Paratici. The 52-year-old stepped down from his role at Tottenham Hotspur in 2023 but is still thought to have strong links to the recruitment system he built in London.

Man City linked with £30m move for Rodri replacement

The fact that Paratici is particularly skilled at arranging Serie A contracts could be advantageous for Ange Postecoglou in his attempts to persuade the highly sought-after Ricci to join the team. Since September, Fichajes reported that the Torino midfielder had been strongly connected to a £30 million deal to Manchester City, where the Championsin needed a replacement for Rodri.

In an interview with Football Insider, former Spurs goalie Paul Robinson hinted that he’remains very well-connected inside the club’. According to Robinson, “It will be difficult to complete in the winter.” I’m not sure if the midfield will be a pressing position given how the squad has played in more of a 4-3-3 configuration in recent weeks.

“However, at just 23 years old, he is still a young player, having earned four caps for Italy.” Tottenham is undoubtedly keen to acquire him. Although I believe it will be difficult to accomplish in the winter, they might investigate it in the summer.

“We are aware that the Spurs prefer to conduct business in Italy.Perhaps since Serie A players have had such success with the team, Ricci is just the most recent name to be considered. Fabio Paratici’s fingerprints from his time spent working with Tottenham’s hiring team are still visible.
