CJ McCollum scored 33 points, and the New Orleans Pelicans set a franchise record with a 153-124 win over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night.
On October 19, 2018, the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Sacramento Kings 149-129 to set the previous team scoring record.

Herbert Jones Jr. had 22 points, Brandon Ingram had 18, Jonas Valanciunas had 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Zion Williamson contributed 17 points and a career-high 11 assists for the Pelicans, who finished with a franchise-record 41 assists.

The Jazz dropped their third straight game after a six-game winning streak, with Collin Sexton scoring 22 points, Simone Fontecchio adding 18 and John Collins scoring 14. For the past seven games, the Pelicans have alternated wins and defeats.
