COVENTRY City will show their support for the LGBTQ+ community at tonight’s (Friday) home match against Preston North End.

The Sky Blues will wear special t-shirts during the warm-up while coaching and non-playing staff and mascot Sky Blue Sam will also wear badges to display their support.

The details of the club’s newly formed LGBTQ+ Supporter Group, “Proud Sky Blues,” will be included in the matchday programme on Friday.

Throughout the evening, the supporters group logo will be displayed on the big screen, and during the matchday, special content will be displayed on the scoreboard and tannoy.

All 72 Clubs will use the inaugural Rainbow match ball, which the EFL and Puma have unveiled, in Sky Bet Championship, League One, and League Two games through the end of February.
