Martyn Waghorn of Derby County has resumed his training, but Paul Warne, the head coach, has disclosed that Conor Washington is having difficulties.

Prior to the trip to Barnsley on Saturday, Waghorn has resumed training, and Corey Blackett-Taylor has also joined the squad following a minor hamstring problem.

Craig Forsyth will make his comeback in two weeks after suffering a calf injury, but Derby’s head coach Paul Warne claims that Washington, who has been out since suffering damage to his ankle ligament, is now having problems with his knee. Warne stated the following prior to the trip to Oakwell: “Corey (Blackett-Taylor) is training with the team today.

He is getting closer, but I don’t think he is quite ready for the match, so we need to give him some training. Fortunately, it appears that his injury problems are behind him. Craig Forsyth is on the grass, but he will not be with me for a few weeks since it will take me two weeks to get my hands on him.

Conor Washington’s knee is giving him trouble. That is growling at him a little bit, and that was one of his problems in the summer. Wash is really irritated and, bless him, a little depressed.

Waggy has been practicing again for the past few days, but he is itching to return and play. Before integrating him, we must attempt to instill a training load in him. Maybe Saturday is too soon for him. Josh Vickers is also not too far away.
