Stoke city on better chance as fresh update over injury blow.

Daniel Farke, the manager of Leeds United, has a media conference this afternoon in advance of the Whites’ Elland Road midweek matchup with Stoke City.

Leeds will play a team that is suffering at the bottom of the Championship table tomorrow night after being held at the weekend by Huddersfield Town, who are in danger of relegation. To become the first team to defeat Leeds this season and to win back-to-back league games, Steven Schumacher’s Potters team travels to Elland Road.

When the teams met again late in the previous season, Patrick Bamford’s penalty kick decided the post-game conversation. The Staffordshire team took advantage of the No. 9’s miscalculation from 12 yards out to win the game and all three points with a late set-piece goal.

Leeds enters this matchup against Stoke having gone 10 games without a loss in the Championship and 19 games without a loss at Elland Road. Farke is anticipated to give a new injury update about the bumps and aches his players had during last Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Huddersfield.

A press conference is set to begin at 1:30 p.m. Check back here for updates.
