Hansi Flick, the former manager of Bayern Munich and Germany, will be present at Hillsborough tonight to watch Sheffield Wednesday play Plymouth Argyle.
This season, Danny Rohl’s team is putting up an unexpected fight to stay in the Championship.
In the first part of the season, Wednesday appeared doomed, but during the past month or two, the German has turned things around at Hillsborough.
They are currently only three points outside of safety in the Championship table after winning their past three straight league games.
Due to Rohl’s recent successes, Flick, the top manager, is rumoured to be attending Hillsborough tonight to witness his club play Plymouth.
The former Germany and Bayern Munich coach is a personal friend of the Sheffield Wednesday manager.
Another win for Rohl’s side could set the cat amongst the pigeons for the teams just above Wednesday in the league table.
Rohl will be looking forward to seeing his side put on an impressive display in front of Flick.
He only took charge of Wednesday in October last year and became the youngest manager in the English Football League at the age of 34.
Flick meanwhile is expected to return to management soon and has been learning Spanish.
