Super punch man urge no fear on Colchester United critical run-in.

Colchester United’s effort and outcome against Mansfield Town, according to Harry Anderson, indicates that they have nothing to fear going into their vital last nine games of the season.

The U’s moved one point clear of the League Two relegation zone over the weekend with a well-earned draw at One Call Stadium.

Colchester is currently gearing up for a crucial Easter schedule that includes hosting Newport County on Good Friday and travelling to Tranmere Rovers on Easter Monday. Anderson, a winger on loan, says the team will be feeling optimistic going into those matches.

We felt disappointed that we hadn’t won after playing the league leaders,” Anderson stated.

It only goes to show how far we’ve gone. With nine huge games ahead of us, we can score some more points.

We faced up against the league leaders, so we can’t be afraid of anyone.

We’re playing pretty well, in my opinion, and maybe we can start converting those draws into victories.

Anderson scored his second goal for Colchester since joining them on loan from League One team Stevenage in January with a brilliant strike against Mansfield.

The former wide receiver for Lincoln City remarked, “It was nice to get on the scoresheet and do my bit for the team.

I took it early, crossed the goal, and it ended up in the lower corner.

“Scoring was an amazing feeling, and it felt especially good to do it in that corner in front of our supporters.”

At Mansfield, Anderson was a right-sided wing-back for Colchester.

Despite being hindered by a dead leg near the end of the intense match at One Call Stadium, the 27-year-old, who had recently recovered from an abductor strain, was keen to continue playing on the pitch.

As a wing-back, it’s really tough because you have to be really high and attacking and then right round on the cover, when it’s down the other side,” Anderson continued.

“It’s quite taxing, and towards the end, I started to feel a little bit tired, but hopefully, if I play more and more games in that position, my fitness will quickly return.

Although it was a little sore, my dead leg should be fine.

Normally, I don’t get upset about dumb small things, but that one truly hurt me, and I could see their boys were pretty frustrated.

I had been away from Stevenage for a considerable amount of time, and every time I return, I manage to resurrect those pesky ailments.

I’m hoping that everything is behind me now so I can move on.

I clearly worked with Dan and Nick (Cowley) before, and I came here to try to get some games and assist out when I could.

I was familiar with their mission and felt like I belonged there.
