With some recent good news about injuries, Manchester City hopes to soon have a fully-fit squad at their disposal.

Only Erling Haaland and Manuel Akanji were sidelined by Pep Guardiola during the FA Cup victory at Tottenham; both players could be available for Wednesday’s home match against Burnley.

In north London, City was also allowed to put Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones, and Ederson on the bench.

Here is the most recent information on Man City injuries and expected return dates.

Erling Haaland

Haaland appears to be healthy enough to play Burnley this week.

The Norwegian has missed a total of eleven City games because of a foot issue since returning to training earlier this month.

However, Guardiola stated that he was “not ready” for the Spurs trip, although he was “on the verge” of returning before that.

The management provided the following most recent report on Haaland: “[He’s] been involved in a few training sessions over the last two days.” We wait a little while longer since it’s not perfect.

Possible return date: January 31 on Wednesday against Burnley

Manuel A. Kanji

Guardiola only labeled Akanji as “out” following his injury sustained during the FA Cup victory over Huddersfield last week.

Although a timeline for his leg issue has not yet been provided, it is not seen to be a severe concern.
