It’s in relation to the death of Kevin Pokuta in Page Hall late last year
Regarding the passing of Kevin Pokuta, an additional charge has been filed.
In the wee hours of Tuesday, December 12, Kevin was shot and killed on Sheffield’s Page Hall Road. Kevin tragically passed away the next day, despite the medical staff’s best efforts.
Wednesday, March 27, marks the arrest and charging of a 17-year-old kid who cannot be identified due to legal concerns. The charges include possession of a firearm with the purpose to endanger life and conspiracy to commit robbery.
His apprehension raises the number of arrests related to Kevin’s death to 13.
The 17-year-old was placed under arrest and made his court appearance today, March 28, at Sheffield Magistrates Court. After being granted conditional release, he will next appear on April 26, 2024.
