After dominating the Roos on Good Friday, Harry McKay received 10 more AFLCA votes, marking his second consecutive perfect game in the first three games.

In addition to his five goals, which led the game, McKay was outstanding in the air and in the offensive zone, recording ten marks and twelve score involvements.

After three games, the forward is now ranked second on the Coleman Medal leaderboard and one spot behind leader Isaac Heeney in the AFLCA standings.

George Hewett, a 28-year-old midfielder, received eight votes for his physical play. He also recorded 12 scoring involvements, which is a game-high, 12 disputed possessions, 9 clearances, and 6 tackles.

In the AFLCA standings, Hewett is ranked in the top 20, one vote ahead of his midfield colleague Patrick Cripps, who received six votes for his performance in the Round 3 match.

In yet another noteworthy performance, the captain Cripps recorded a game-high 15 contested possessions and a team-high 28 disposals while playing at Marvel Stadium.

Charlie Curnow, a sharpshooter, received three votes. The big forward has four goals, which puts him equal fourth in the Coleman Medal standings, ten disputed possessions, and nine score involvements.

Elijah Hollands, a forward-midfielder for Carlton, made his debut in his maiden Navy Blue game and left an impression. He received two votes for his 22 disposals, 9 contested possessions, 8 score involvements, and goal in the last quarter.

Rounding out the votes was Adam Cerra, who polled a singular vote against the Roos. Picking up 22 disposals, an equal-game high of eight inside 50s and seven tackles, Cerra also contributed to the scoreboard in the first term.
