Congratulations to Andy Cannon, who won our Goal of the Month award for March after completing an outstanding team move against Grimsby Town.
The move began with the Red Dragons defending their own penalty area; a critical tackle by Elliot Lee released Paul Mullin, who danced past two midfielders before sliding in Tom O’Connor, who threaded the ball through to Cannon, who hammered the ball into the top corner.
Wrexham AFC Women seized the lead against Swansea City at the STōK Cae Ras, with Lili Jones scoring an amazing goal that lobbed Chelsea Herbert, earning her second place in the competition.
