Police appeal after concerns raised over ‘dangerous and anti-social’ driving on Sheffield road
A police inquiry was initiated in response to reports of “dangerous and anti-social” motorcycles on Middlewood Road.
Concerned citizens reported antisocial and reckless driving in Hillsborough, Sheffield, to South Yorkshire Police, and now the officers looking into the claims have released images of persons they would like to talk with.
In a statement, the force stated: “We received allegations of off-road bikers operating in a risky and antisocial manner on Middlewood Road on Friday, March 19, 2024, shortly before 5.30pm.
Authorities have requested that anyone who identifies the males in the photos get in touch with them by phoning 101 and referencing incident number 783 of March 19, 2024, or by visiting the South Yorkshire Police website.
Officers have released two photos of cyclists in relation to the reports after conducting inquiries.
“The men were estimated to be in their 20s and stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall.”
One of the males appears to have his face covered while riding a quad bike in the photos.
