The injury expert has reacted to the latest news emerging on the 22-year-old which has ruled him out for the rest of the season.

Following the absence of Boubacar Kamara, Tyrone Mings, and Emi Buendia due to injuries, Ramsey is now the fourth senior player to be declared out for the remainder of the campaign.

Dr. Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapist, discussed this scenario with Villa News.

“It is unlikely that Ramsey will need surgery or any kind of operation; if it were, the club would have probably made an announcement.”

We don’t have that information, so how we handle the problem truly relies on what’s happening.

It can be that they’re attempting to ascertain whether surgery is necessary or that he’s simply not making the desired improvement in physical therapy.

“It is a long-term one and the plan is probably to get him back in time for pre-season.”

Aston Villa ace Ramsey endures an annoying season

Ramsey has battled numerous injury woes throughout the season which has undoubtedly been annoying for him and the club.

There have been troubles with his ankle and hamstring previously and now it’s a toe setback ruling him out for the season.

The 22-year-old was a regular in the 2022–2023 season, but he has only managed to make 16 appearances in the league this year.

In other Aston Villa news, Tyrone Mings’s position has been updated in footage that has surfaced, prompting a doctor to respond with a “unfortunate” statement.
