123 ABC Pram & Nursery Centre, which now has outlets in Ayr, Kilmarnock, and Cumnock, is relocating to the former Designer Rooms site on Ayr Road.
The Designer Rooms closed for the final time last month to open a new emporium on Kilmarnock’s Fowlds Street.
The building at 7-9 Irvine Road will then be converted into the Ayrshire Baby Centre, a spin-off of 123 ABC.
The baby business has confirmed that huge things are happening, and the keys to the premises are now in hand.
A representative stated, “Irvine, we are coming for you. I’m quite excited to start shopfitting. Like and follow our posts to keep up with our progress. I can’t wait to greet you all.”
They had previously stated: “Our new store, Ayrshire Baby Centre, will open in mid-April at 7-9 Ayr Road, Irvine.
“Work is well underway and we will keep you all updated with the working progress and we can’t wait to show you everything we have in store for all your little ones needs.”
The Designer Rooms stated earlier this year that it would close and merge its Irvine and Kilmarnock stores before relocating to a larger location in the East Ayrshire town.
