Town has only won 12 of their 41 league games this season, placing them 19th in the League Two standings.

The visitors should be secure with a few more victories, but they are not mathematically safe from being forced into a relegation battle just yet.

Wild is determined to ensure that there are no unpleasant shocks because both teams, while being at different ends of the table, have something to play for.

“These games are pretty interesting because you never know what you are going to get,” he said in an interview with The Mail.

Gav (interim head coach Gavin Gunning) has done a fantastic job of steadiing the ship at Swindon, despite the team’s appalling injury list.

“This season has been quite challenging for them. They’ve experienced numerous injuries, have had a manager change, and this year has been somewhat of a transition year.

“Hard things are happening behind the scenes, and none of them are helpful.

As I previously mentioned, I believe Gav has done an excellent job of balancing the ship and steering them in the proper path.

“I’m sure they’ll be alright in the summer when they have time to reflect.

The team is enormous and ought to be near the top of League Two.

Even though Wild feels sorry for The Robins and his opponent Gunning, he and his team won’t be taking any prisoners at Holker Street tomorrow.

Wild went on, “It’s critical that we handle business and enter tomorrow with a businesslike attitude.”

“And once more, we must ensure that we are the greatest versions of ourselves and that we deny Swindon any chance to hang on.”

It will be one of those games where we have to focus on our strengths and make sure we return to our winning ways.

The Bluebirds will undoubtedly want to ensure that they are at the top of the game right away after giving up two goals in the first ten minutes of Morecambe’s 2-1 derby victory.

Even though he believed his team could have won, Wild acknowledged that handing their opponents a two-goal lead was ultimately what lost them against the Shrimps.

“We just didn’t show it from the beginning, but I think we showed a lot of that on Monday.”

“We gave them a two-goal lead, which didn’t help, but Morecambe had nothing to report when you look at their figures from the game, with the exception of the opening ten minutes.

“I really feel that a draw would have been a fair outcome on Monday, but we didn’t get one, and that’s life.”
