The Welsh team’s recent 4-1 victory over Crawley Town at home strengthened their chances of earning automatic promotion from League Two.

Not too far behind Stockport County in second place, but five places ahead of MK Dons in fourth.

News about the Wrexham team
Jacob Mendy, the left back, was substituted against Colchester United in the previous game, hence he was not present for Wrexham’s encounter against Crawley.

Arthur Okonkwo, an Arsenal loanee, will continue to start in goal for Wrexham. It is unclear if he will make a second appearance at the Emirates Stadium when he returns there this summer.

The Red Dragons ought to stick with their defence. Both James McClean and Ryan Barnett play wing-back, with the latter covering for Mendy.

After a consistent campaign, Max Cleworth, Eoghan O’Connell, and Tom O’Connor are predicted to start at the centre of defence, with Ben Tozer, an experienced player, on the bench.

With a plethora of choices in the middle of the park for Wrexham, I believe Parkinson will choose Elliot Lee in front of George Evans and the highly effective Andy Cannon.

The Red Dragons are also quite strong up front in terms of depth. Paul Mullin, who scored twice against Crawley, is probably going to start once more. Other players to consider as Mullins’ top-end partner are Ollie Palmer, Jack Marriott, Steven Fletcher, and Sam Dalby.
