Kilmarnock police swooped on a town centre building at the weekend after a report of ‘suspicious activity’ was made.

Cops raided the King Street building on Saturday afternoon.

Authorities have verified that a 31-year-old guy was taken into custody and charged with drugs crimes, violation of bail, and attempted theft.

A representative for officers Scotland stated: “On Saturday, April 6, 2024, at around 12:25 p.m., officers were alerted to a report of suspicious activity at a vacant property in King Street, Kilmarnock.

When officers arrived, a 31-year-old male was taken into custody and charged with drug crimes, breach of bail, and attempted theft.
