Some comment after Warrington Wolves forward signs new deal as he praises Sam Burgess influence

Bullock, 31, has stated that new head coach Sam Burgess had a significant impact on his choice, and his contract will keep him with the team for an additional two years after this one ends.

Joe Bullock, a Cumbrian native, signed with Warrington after spending three seasons with Wigan Warriors. He is currently in his third season at Primrose and Blue and plans to stay for two more.

Press releases and an announcement on the team’s website confirming the development said, “Warrington Wolves is delighted to announce that Joe Bullock has signed a new two-year contract extension.”

“The 6′ 5 in and 111 kg prop has signed a new contract that will keep him with the team through the 2026 season.”

Bullock, who has played for the team 43 times, appears certain to surpass the 50 appearance milestone at some point this season. On Sunday, when Warrington plays St Helens in the Challenge Cup, he will probably make his 44th appearance for the team.

Bullock’s extension represents a significant improvement over his loan to Hull FC earlier in the season, when some fans believed he was surplus to requirements. Since returning from Humberside, the prop has participated in all three games and even scored in Round Seven’s victory over Leeds Rhinos.

Warrington’s remarks continued with Bullock discussing his choice to sign a contract and dedicate himself to the team he has been playing for the previous two seasons. The 31-year-old highlighted Burgess as a major factor in his decision.

“I’m very happy to have committed my future here,” stated Bullock. I’ve had some interesting conversations with Sam [Burgess], and I’m enthusiastic about the direction the club is taking.

Since coming here, I’ve had a good experience. I adore the team, the club, and the surrounding infrastructure. Sam has a great rapport with the boys and has a great influence on the club.

“I think he will be a huge asset in my growth and development. For me, it’s a wonderful chance.

Burgess expressed his admiration for the forward, saying, “I’m happy Bull [Joe Bullock] has agreed a contract extension with the club.” The sentiment was reciprocated.

“He is a valued member of our pack, well-liked by the players, and he will be a key player for us in the years to come.”
