According to the most recent sources, Sead Haksabanovic is anticipated to return to Celtic after Stoke City decides not to make his transfer a permanent one at the end of the season.

The Potters have endured a taxing campaign, spending most of it buried deep in the standings, mired in an exhausting relegation struggle. But after defeating Plymouth Argyle 3-0 at the Bet365 Stadium last weekend, Steven Schumacher’s club has already amassed 50 points in the Championship.

With two games left, the former Premier League team is still in danger as they sit four points above the relegation zone. However, a win or perhaps a draw against Southampton at the St. Mary’s Stadium and Bristol City at home should virtually guarantee their survival for the upcoming campaign.

Stoke decided not to sign the attacker permanently, according to a report from the Swedish publication Fotbal Direkt, which was cited by Football Scotland. The Montenegro international is expected to make a return to Celtic Park this summer.

Underr Tottenham Hotspu boss Ange Postecoglou, the 24-year-old Glasgow giants secured a domestic treble last season. It is said that the Scottish champions have placed a £2.2 million price tag on him.

Having joined Premier League side West Ham United as a teenager back in 2017, Haksabanovic has now failed at two different teams in England, after showing flashes of his talent during the previous campaign with Celtic.

This highly-rated talent was acquired by the Hammers from the Allsvenskan seven years ago for £2.7 million, but over ten years later, Celtic wants less. It’s evident that Stoke City is unable to assist Haksabanovic in realising his full potential, since he has not performed up to par throughout his career.
