Authorities at the railway have confirmed that a person has been struck by a train in south Essex.
After a person was struck by a train between Southend Victoria and Wickford, Essex rail operator Greater Anglia reports that there is still disruption to its services in the south of the county.
According to their website, all lines have reopened, but while services are restored, cancellations and changes should be anticipated.
According to an additional statement, “Greater Anglia tickets are still being accepted on London Underground services between Tower Hill and Liverpool Street, as well as on c2c services between Southend Central and Fenchurch Street.”
