A crown court judge will hear arguments from two men from London who first appeared before magistrates in connection with the shooting death of a 20-year-old man in Telford in 2020.

Tamba Momodu was shot and killed on Tuesday, October 13, of that year, while travelling to the gym in the Horsehay parking lot of the Bridges Business Park.

He had died “as a result of six gunshot wounds to his head and parts of his body,” according to the findings of an inquiry.

At Horsehay, Telford’s Bridges Business Park, Tamba Momodu, inset, was shot and killed.

The 32-year-olds Mahamud Tarabi of Whiteleys Parade, Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Deria Hassan of Octavia Court, Watford, appeared before Kidderminster magistrates on Thursday morning.

In addition to the murder of Mr. Momodu, both of them are accused of setting a £17,500 car on fire after it was shot.

The two guys simply spoke words to verify each other’s identity, birthdate, and residence.

None of them made a plea.

The two were informed by magistrates that they would be detained in detention. They were told to show up at Stafford Crown Court on Friday morning to face the judge.

After a three and a half year investigation, West Mercia Police said on Wednesday that they had detained three men on suspicion of murder and arson in connection with Tamba Momodu’s death.

The force claimed that one of the suspects in custody was arrested with help from Dutch officials.

Following Mr. Momodu’s passing in October 2020, Tamba’s family honoured their loved one, referring to him as “Tee or Kutubu” and describing him as “a smiley charismatic young man who would light up any room he entered.” He played a significant role in our life and was incredibly adored by everyone he met.”
