A Kilmarnock road was shut down by police after “medical matter” unfolded in the town.
Emergency services raced to London Road in order to deal with the incident late on Thursday afternoon.
Officers sealed off the road just before the Grand Hall and at the road’s junction with Holehouse Road with no traffic permitted through the street.
A lone white Mercedes van was parked in the middle of the road at the scene near to The Urbanist restaurant and London Road Medical Practice.
Officers were spotted at the busy road directing traffic with cones and police cars used to block the route.
