At Kingussie, the A9 is closed in both directions due to an incident, and emergency services are responding.
After a collision on Sunday at 2:00 pm, five fire engines were dispatched to the scene.
“We received the call at 2pm and we are still at the scene,” a fire service official stated.
Three appliances from Aviemore, a volunteer unit from Carrbridge, and a heavy rescue unit from Inverness have all been dispatched.
Emergency services remain at the scene. Traffic is heavy on surrounding approaches tonight, please avoid the area at this time.”

It has not yet been confirmed if anyone has been injured although The National has reached out to Police Scotland for comment.
UPDATE: Traffic Scotland has confirmed the incident is now over and the bridge re-opened.
