Following a collision on Leeds’ Armley Ridge Road, the driver of the vehicle that overturned onto its roof was transported to the hospital.

In Armley, the car struck a parked car and then flipped onto its roof at 11:39 a.m. this morning ,While police are on the scene, the road is closed.

“At 11.39am, police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Armley Ridge Road in Leeds, where a car had collided with a parked car,” a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson told Leeds Live. The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment after emergency services arrived. At this point, it is not thought that the driver’s injuries are life-threatening.

A flipped car is seen lying in the middle of Armley Ridge Road in Armley, and emergency services are on the scene.

The car is fully on its roof, and pictures show West Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service personnel at the scene. While emergency services are on the scene, Armley Ridge Road is closed.

It’s unclear at this time what caused the car to topple over and whether anyone was hurt in the process.
